Growing up, we gathered around the dinner table each night and connected as a family.  Big holidays or celebrations usually brought our close friends and family to our table to celebrate with us.  If the phone rang during dinner time, the caller was told their call would be returned after dinner - there were no interruptions and no exceptions.  

 

As a mom of two busy boys, I want this tradition to continue in our home.  However, getting a meal on the table after a long day of work and school always seems like a daunting task.  The idea for Family Table started when I took a leave of absence from my office job and found joy again in the kitchen, creating meals for my family and friends.  Now I find joy in bringing family-friendly meals to your table and mine alike.
